The Florida Palm Tree! Florida Palm tress are beautiful and considered a tourist attraction. The unique thing about Florida Palm trees is they are able to withstand hurricane force winds. They have what is called a “deep tap root”. This root will grow deep into the earth looking for 2 things…..1: a rock (concrete) and 2: water (life source). The “deep tab root” will wrap itself around the rock & continue to grow until it reaches a water source. This gives the palm tree the ability to bend at more than a 45 degree angle but the stability not to be uprooted when the strong Florida winds begin to blow.

Being Deep/Strong is about how we treat ourselves & our fellow man. The way we treat “people” (horizontal relationships) confirms our depth vertically. Everyone wants to go to the “next level”, “higher dimension”…..etc. But how deep are you willing to go, through your “personal sacrifice”, “giving up self rights” & “relationships with others”. Are you willing to be rooted in God & Discipline Yourself so that when the winds of life begin to blow (people, places & things)….You will be able to Maintain Your Integrity. When your are tempted & tried (in most cases) Maintain Self Control. You can talk about how deep & strong you are while the sun is shining but when the hurricane winds (People, Places & Things) begin to blow through your life, can you Stand Strong?
